The divine ability to make others, especially strangers,
feel warmly welcomed, accepted, and comfortable in the church family. The ability
to coordinate factors that promote fellowship.
1 Peter 4:9

• Communicate “heart to heart” type of people
• You create warm, safe and comfortable settings
• Encourage/inspire others to move out of their comfortable circle of
church friends and
to reach others.
• Love having people to visit - not just the act of entertaining. You
value the person more than the environment.
CAUTIONS
• Watch that you don’t lean upon the comfortable
circles or “clicks” that develop.
• Hebrews 13:2 tells us not to neglect this gift.
• Don’t complain about the work associated with this gift.
• Keep your priorities in balance. Do not neglect responsibilities at
home.
• Don’t put your family’s safety at risk.
